Crash!!
This is a shot I captured while on a short day-trip to Prison Island in Tanzania. Looking out of a cliff from the edge of Prison Island, I spotted this rock jutting out in the middle of the Indian Ocean, being battered by the sea. Each time the sea waves struck, spray would be generated, carried hither and thither by the strong breezes. I tried to freeze the motion so as to depict the power in nature, battering away at that rock, wearing it away gradually through the centuries. Who knows if a monolith stood there thousands of years ago, now worn down to barely a nub.
