Winter Visitors
**Feel free to zoom in to view this**
Here are a few of my winter visitors that frequent my feeders. They were out and about on the bitter cold and snowy days. I usually have more than this that come to the feeders, but I wasn't able to get any photos.
(Left down and to the right) Male Downy woodpecker, Tufted Titmouse, Purple finch, White-breasted nuthatch, White-throated sparrow, and a Dark-eyed Junco. (Center) Carolina Wren.
When it's very cold the birds like to puff up their bodies and fluff their feathers to keep warm. They also like to sit in the lilac bush right outside my window to rest, or to wait for their turn at the feeders.
Collage and canvas texture are from Photoshop.
Thanks for your views, comments, awards, invites, and faves.
