Christmas midnight sun

What is it? It's a rainy Christmas Day in Canberra at night. The lens is focussed on the raindrops on a car sunroof, if I remember correctly (it was a long time ago) and the 'sun' is a street light. The reason the drops are different sizes is because some are still falling.
