Anima archetype - the feminine

This is a photo of a painting that I saw in the window of an art gallery on Granville Island in Vancouver. I love the textured application of colours, the flowing current of concentric patterning, the floral and butterfly-wing motifs, and the subtle bilateral symmetry in the structure of the composition of this painting. To me, the image of this woman represents the Jungian anima archetype of the goddess, the eternal metaphysical essence of the feminine.
