Flying-P-Liner Passat
The fascinating “Flying-P-Liner” has experienced many stormy adventures and exciting journeys across the oceans since it was launched. After a total of 39 circumnavigations of Cape Horn and many thousands of nautical miles, the ship retired in Travemünde "rigged", i.e. without sails. Since then, the tall steel ship has been lying majestically and well protected at the mouth of the Trave and has become the swimming symbol of the seaside resort.
