Halfway House

Walking around Edinburgh sometimes makes me feel as if I am in a fairytale and sometimes as if I’m in a Dickens novel with the flights of stone steps leading up through narrow passageways. And in strategic spots so many down-and-outs hopefully hold out their empty cups.
