Not now Mom, they're looking!
This chacma baboon family was intently grooming, paying no attention to me...all but one, the young one who gave me a total stare down (zoom in to see those intense orange eyes). When I looked at the photo later I couldn't help but see the comparison to an adolescent/teenager out with a parent, trying to make them look more presentable and the child not wanting their friends to see. Kruger National Park, South Africa. Chacma baboon (Papio ursimus).
