A Silent Take-Over

"Sweet flowers are slow and weeds make haste."

William Shakespeare

It's a stranger and wonderful world. I have discovered that so many invasive weeds are some of my favorite plants.

I realize that English Ivy, when contained, can bring joy with their rich green leaves and flowers that bloom twice a year. This is especially important in the lives of pollinating insects and some butterflies.

Additionally, where else in the world are you going to find a plant that resembles a Sputnik chandelier, with a nod to the Russian satellite, the world's first which was launched into space in 1957, kicking off the Space Race among the global superpowers.
