The Shape Remains

I love placing leaves on a window so the light will highlight the colors within the multiple cell layers. Instead of using tape to adhere the leaf to the glass, I once wet one side of the leaf. It stayed in place for several minutes.

 

After removing the leaf, I was stunned to see a shape of it remained in place. What else could I do, but celebrate and grab another shot?
