Reaching That High Note
Being invited inside a large aviary at Parrots In Paradise (an exotic bird sanctuary) was a delight. I'd never been that close to parrots of that size and I was so excited, at first I almost forgot I had my camera in hand. I had just started taking pictures of this Macaw when, with a lift of his/her head, I was suddenly looking into that cavernous mouth. It reminded me of a performer reaching that high note.
