Tired of Waiting
The best way to see Iceland is to travel with people that live there. Over fifty years ago, I became friends with a young woman who was an exchange student at our high school. Our friendship has deepened through visits and subsequent travels together. These two sculptures have stayed in my memory long after our travels to that marvelous island. If you are fortunate enough to visit Iceland some day, do go to the lovely fishing village of Siglufjordur, Iceland.
