Toddlers celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna

Janmashtami is a festival that holds significant importance in all communities in our country. Toddlers of Bodakdev School too celebrated it, but this time was slightly different. They all were dressed in traditional Indian dresses and took part in the virtual celebrations. They witnessed the jhula or palna of baby Kanha and saw his gorgeous attire and the sweets that were placed in front of him. Teachers shared the stories around his birthing that are mentioned in the Bhagavata Purana. A small Matki Phod event also took place. Students clapped with joy on seeing the entire event. In the end, toddlers and their mothers took part in Dandiya Ras and danced on the beats of Gujarati music. The celebrations educated the toddlers about the life of Lord Krishna.
