ℹ️Info

The Little Friarbird is actually a relatively large honeyeater but it is called little due to its small size compared to other friarbirds. Also, unlike them, it lacks a horn on its bill. It is grey-brown with a bluish grey facian skin mask. The specimen here has some yellow feathers on its throat and shoulders which means it is a juvenile.

.

Little Friarbirds spend most of their time in treetops feeding on a varied diet of nectar, fruit, worms, and occasionally flowers and seeds.
