Canada, Clearwater, Pine Bug

American pine bugs are particularly large and conspicuous bugs with long antennae. The tibiae of the hind legs are conspicuously widened.

They are good fliers, flying style and loud buzzing resemble the flight of bumblebees. When touched, they secrete a secretion reminiscent of a green banana smell.
