World Asteroid Day
The celestial bodies, asteroids, which failed to evolve during the birth of solar systems, seldom may hit the earth resulting in devastation. The recent reports of 2020 declared five asteroids traversing the Earth, one after the other. On this day in 1908, Tunguska collided over Siberia, Russian Federation, destroying many plants and animals. To retrieve this day, when the most harmful known asteroid hit the earth, 30th June is marked Asteroid day.
