1890 (ca.), Paul Gauguin, Bowl of Fruit and Tankard before a Window -- National Gallery (London)
From the museum label: This array of fruit is a homage to a still life by Paul Cezanne, which Gauguin owned and had with him when he visited Brittany in 1890. This painting probably dates from that visit. The pottery tankard is almost certainly from the area where he was staying.
