1874, Camille Pissarro, Portrait of Cezanne -- National Gallery (London)

From the museum label: The 1870s saw a period of blossoming artistic exchange between Pissarro and Cezanne. In this affectionate portrait, Pissarro surrounds his friend with prints. They feature caricatures of Adolphe Thiers (1797-1877), the former President of France, and the Realist painter Gustave Courbet (1819-1877), both of whom seem to salute Cezanne. Pissarro kept this work in his studio until his death.
