1760, Jin Tingbiao, Portrait of Looge -- Museum für Asiatische Kunst (Berlin)

From the museum label: The three fragments of the Museum für Asiatische Kunst show the Minister of War, Arigun (died 1770), and the two First-Rank Imperial Guardsmen, Looge and Daktana, respectively. The minister wears a dark blue official robe. Embroidered on the chest is a square rank badge. For his services he received the double-eyed peacock feather. The imperial guard not only ensured the safety of the emperor and the imperial family, but also protected the imperial palace from invaders.
