1945 (ca.), Anne Redpath, Still Life with Milk Bottle -- National Gallery of Scotland (Edinburgh)

From the museum label: Here's another example of Redpath reusing materials and working on both sides of the painting. The more frequently shown side features a typically vibrant still-life with decorative objects and furniture from her home in Hawick. But on this, the reverse side, the palette is more subdued except for pops of colours created by the daffodils, festive mouse design on the teapot and the distinctive cover of a Penguin paperback book.
