1485 (ca.), Domenico Ghirlandaio (Domenico Bigordi), Madonna Enthroned with Two Angels, St. Denis, St. Dominic, Pope St. Clement and St. Thomas Aquinas -- Uffizi Gallery (Florence)
From the museum label: The original provenance of this panel, which was in the Galleria dell'Accademia in the 19th century, is unknown, but the presence of St. Dominic and St. Thomas Aquinas suggest that it is likely to have been painted for a Dominican convent. While the composition and design are Ghirlandaio's, the altarpiece was painted at least in part by his assistants, one of whom, Bartolomeo di Giovanni (1458-1501), painted the predella. The picture entered the Uffizi in 1919.
