From the museum label: The vibrating paint material is applied fresh and effortless, as if the artist's hand was guided by the breeze that seems to stir the angel's blond hair and move the hem of his sleeve. His gaze is turned towards a figure, probably a St Onuphrius, who was once present on the left side of the altarpiece. The end of his staff can just be seen.
