1887, Vincent van Gogh, Carafe and Dish with Citrus Fruit -- Van Gogh Museum (Amsterdam)

From the museum label: Painting a glass object is tricky. Van Gogh made the challenge even greater: he chose a carved carafe as well as decorative wallpaper. As a result, he was confronted with colourful reflections. He signed and dated this still life. He only did that when he was satisfied with his work.
