1665 (ca.), Jan Steen, A village-fair -- Frans Hals Museum (Haarlem)
From the museum label: People are making music, dancing and drinking. Drunkenness and lechery are abundantly on display. To the left, a drunkard is being steered away. Another man is lying on the ground dead drunk, with his breeches open. To the right two men are sitting talking to a woman while a third lights his pipe: lighting the fire of love, perhaps. The woman squatting by the fence to the right is holding up her skirt to urinate.
