1507, Giorgione, The Adoration of the Kings -- National Gallery (London)

From the museum label: Mary presents her newborn son to the Three Kings, who pay him homage with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh (Matthew 2:11). Saint Joseph holds the offering from the foremost King. The painting may have formed part of the predella (the tier below the main field) of an altarpiece.
