1875 (ca.), Alfred Sisley, The Watering Place at Marly-le-Roi -- National Gallery (London)
From the museum label: The watering place is one of the few remains of the château of Marly-le-Roi, built for Louis XIV in the late 17th century and destroyed in the 1790s. Sisley lived nearby from 1875 to 1877 and often painted the site. Winter scenes like this, however, are rare.
