A little girl in the audience was invited to ride Joey the horse puppet during Inside War Horse, a free one-time only show about the scenes behind War Horse the play.
Tommy Luther, the Associate Pupptry Director from the original [British] production explained to the audience how the show came into being and how the puppets were designed and made.
Here, Mr. Luther was encouraging the girl to give Joel a lilttle kick so the horse would start walking. The girl appeared a bit nervous about riding the puppet though!
