Baby Fokker, Mother Fokker. Well, that's the polite way to say it

It's obvious that the Dutch were angry when Fokker's majority owner Daimler-Benz withdrew financial support for Fokker NV, leading to its collapse. It was the biggest mass lay-off in Dutch corporate history.

I love newspaper and often buy a local newspaper when I travel. This 1996 pull-out section of The Netherlander, however, came to me from my brother. He was in Rotterdam on a conference when Dutch plane-maker Fokker NV collapsed.

Very kindly, he brought me this pull-out special of The Netherlander when he came back to Toronto. The Netherlander is an English-language business weekly of Het Financieele Dagblad, a Dutch business daily.
