Railway network map

Alas, unfortunately I had forgotten to record what railway network this map represents. Judging on its use of grey and red, my guess is this shows part of the Virgin Trains network that centres the Midlands region of England.

 

Thanks to my Birmingham friend Ell, this is actually the rail network of CrossCountry Trains, an Arriva plc company.

 

We were at Peterborough Station (half way between Nottingham and Cambridge on the map) waiting for the train back to London King's X.
