Just a short distance from the Green-Wood Cemetery gate is this beautiful chapel. It was built in 1911 by the architectural firm Warren and Wetmore, which also designed the Grand Central Terminal (New York), the Yale Club and the New York Yacht Club.
Though situated in a cemetery, the chapel is often used for film shooting as well as weddings.

Green-Wood Cemetery (founded 1838) is both a Revolutionary War historic site (the Battle of Long Island was fought in 1776 across what is now its grounds) and a National Historic Site for the many important people buried here. The 478-acre site sits on a beautiful hilly parkland with several ponds.
