RBC Royal Bank's Arbie flying a rainbow flag pride

In recent years, RBC Royal Bank of Canada has been using a old-school banker character in the bank's marketing campaign. The character has a name: Arbie. He wears a blue suit and a bowler hat. The use of Arbie obviously is to create an image of tradition, honesty, familiarity and trust.

 

The character is cute, but I'm not buying into that image.
