Good Luck Charm
My fiancé and I spent a great day in West Virginia exploring today. As we walked under the Shenandoah subdivision bridge at Harper’s Ferry, she remarked to me “this would be a cool photo”, and I agreed. I’ve tried to get a daylight train here 4 times, and got skunked. As we wrapped up our hike, I heard a horn blow, and as many in the hobby have done, sprinted into position. I am STOKED with how this turned out, the spire of St. Peter’s church standing in the background, as the ballast train cruises over the wooden bridge through Harper’s Ferry. Thanks, K, for being supportive of my passion, and being good luck. A great day indeed.
