Florence is a young medical doctor, youth leader for nutrition, and senior program officer on NCDs at PATH Rwanda. She volunteers with the Rwanda Non-Communicable Disease Alliance and the Rwanda Girls Guides Association. Through the Alliance, she campaigns for healthy lifestyles and NCD prevention, supports RBC in training for cervical cancer screening and early breast cancer detection, and has undertaken advocacy work with the Medical Students Association of Rwanda on sexual and reproductive health issues. Florence also coordinated World AIDS Day events in 2015 and served as the vice coordinator for the Rwanda village community promoter team, advocating for social justice in rural communities. She is a committed advocate for gender equality and a dedicated Girl Guide.
