BN X5816E LOADED COAL HELPERS BELMONT NE 6-3-79 ORGS
Burlington Northern X5816E rear helper set with three GE units, two U30Cs and one C30-7, cut in front of the caboose is on the main at Belmont, NE on June 3, 1979. The loaded coal train has almost stopped so that helpers on the rear can be cut off with the caboose so that helper set with the caboose can be backed over the west switch where the helpers will cut off the caboose and the helpers can then be moved into the siding. Once this is done the west switch will be lined for main and the caboose will be rolled back down to its train. Once the caboose is back on the train BNX5816W will be on its way to another meet at the next siding.
