Bittern threat (1)

Taken 27 January 1995 Rainford Lancashire. Olympus OM2N camera Tamron SP 70-210mm F22 60th I Braun 800 flash , Kodachrome 64 colour slide. The keeper and I were walking through reeds looking for a place to film Teal on the pond beyond, when we came upon this bird who seemed to assume a threat posture. before it sneaked away.
