One of my favorite things about living in this area is all of the moss and fog to find in the forests. Particularly, Oak Trees. They are strong, durable, heavy, and individually wildly authentic. Essentially mimicking a lightning strike, and having that frequent misty background creates a presence in these trees that stops you in your tracks.
Any morning you go for a hike, each tree's character is unique, striking and contains these little 'extras' to add to the visual experience. I find often find myself taking 3x as long to complete a hike because of these eye-catchers.
