This beauty reminds me of my carefree childhood, with the scents circling me from everywhere with the coming of spring, when the roses were in full swing! And even more, when I tasted my grandmother's sweet preserve made of roses (sweet spoonful) - she was born in Constantinople - a unique recipe that passed through many generations and reached me. So at this time of year I make a sweet spoonful of roses which I enjoy with a glass of cold water.
