The son of Walter, a gentleman farmer, and Eleanor Bloom Smith, nee Bloom, of 'Oakleigh', Swaffham, Norfolk.

Donald died of wounds, aged 22, on Wednesday 18th. October 1916. He is buried in Grave: XII. A. 11. at Étaples Military Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France with the personal inscription

Lt Clifford Day Smith, 5th. Battalion, Norfolk Regiment, attached to 9th. Battalion, Norfolk Regiment.

Born in 1891.

Father of Peter Armstrong Smith, b. 1918.

Clifford killed in action on Wednesday 23rd. October 1918. He was buried at Basuel, France in marked Grave: 4.D. 7 at map reference R.9.c.6.7. He was later reburied in Grave: IV. D. 7. at Highland Cemetery, le Cateau, Nord, France.

 

Lt Alan Raymond Noel Smith, 130th. King George's Own Baluchis (Jacob's Rifles).

Born in 1900 at Wisbech, Cambridgeshire

Alan died, aged 19, on Thursday 10th. July 1919. He was buried in Grave: Y. H. 22. at Rawalpindi War Cemetery. On 28th. November 1966 his remains were exhumed and reburied in Grave: 2. C. 10. at Rawalpindi War Cemetery, Punjab, Pakistan with the personal inscription
