FIRE IN FREDERIKSHAVEN.

At 1 p.m. on 19th. December, 2012, a fire broke out and was accompanied by dense smoke aboard the Seven Navica, which had been docked at the Ortoft Yard in Frederikshavn since 3rd. December. As there was some uncertainty about people being on board an ambulance was sent to the Harbour Square. However, there was no one aboard, but the crew had begun to fight the fire when the fire brigade arrived. After about an hour the fire, which had broken out during welding in a storage room, was under control. The ship was viewed with thermal cameras by the fire brigade before they returned to their station in Frederikshavn. One fireman received a shock from a welder and was taken to hospital along with two workers suffering from smoke inhalation.
