Ra's rushed around the next corner, I followed shortly after.
Ra's: Did you happen to see where the cat burglar went when she escaped?
Superman: Unfortunately not. The kryptonite blurred my vision.
Ra's: I see... This may be more difficult than I expected, but we shall get it done nonetheless.
Around this corner, we saw several criminals working for the different mob bosses in the war.
Goon 1: My god, it's the alien!
Goon 2: Run!
Suddenly, Ra's ran up to one, and slit his throat with his blade, the criminal dropping to the ground! The rest stood in shock...
Goon 2: M-... My god, what are you..?
Superman: Agh, why would you do that?!
I flew over to Ra's, and held him by the collar, his hood falling backward... I was so shocked and confused, I felt I could almost kill him at that moment. He took a human life for practically no reason.
Ra's: Relax, Superman. I have the Lazarus, remember?
He turned to his side, and poured a drop of the Lazarus onto him, his skin bubbling with a green foam for a second, before fully healing.
Ra's: Just a drop can heal wounds and save lives, you have roughly an hour before he wakes up.
Superman: Oh... Wow... I guess I underestimated you.
I let go of Ra's, and all the other goons still stood in fear. I turned to them, my eyes glowing red, before they ran off. I flew over to them, and knocked them all out before they turned the next corner.
Ra's: Nice work.
Superman: You to... Now we find Catwoman.
Ra's: Indeed.
I used my x-ray vision to look around, but it was hard to tell who was her, the city still had so many people in it, criminals and civilians. It took me a while, but eventually I noticed someone running across rooftops, gargoyles, and street lights while using a whip.
Superman: Alright... I see her. Let's go.
I flew to where she was, and floated in front of her before she could whip herself up to a streetlight.
Superman: Hello again.
Catwoman: Agh! How did you do that..?!
Superman: That doesn't matter right now.
I picked her up off of the ground, my eyes glowing red to intimidate her.
Superman: What matters is where you got the kryptonite. Talk.
She tried to claw at me, but I avoided it, dropping her in the process. When she landed on the ground, her mask fell onto the floor...
Superman: I need answers, Cat.
Catwoman: And I'm not going to give them to you.
I picked her up again by the collar, just like I did to Ra's, my eyes glowing brighter...
Superman: Don't make me hurt you.
Catwoman: ...
She was silent, and looking over my shoulder. I ignored it at first, but then I heard footsteps...
Superman: What the-...
I felt a sword go into my back and come out through my stomach, tipped with kryptonite. It was removed, I fell to the floor, and through the blurriness I saw Ra's.
Ra's: I'm sorry it had to come to this.
