Feeling perhaps a little disappointed with the hurried shot I got out of Eastcheap, a very unsuccessful ride on the 15 bus in an attempt to get to Covent Garden - more on that later - turned up a better shot by one happy accident outside St Pauls. Given the news at the time, I wonder if the officer was getting items out of their car in response to any specific counterterrorist operations. Still, though, a rather unique way of looking at armed police on deployment!
Seen from the number 15 bus seemingly as the officer in charge was loading up something, the City of London Police's KP70 WCR, a 2020 Volvo XC90 armed response vehicle, is spotted on deployment at the front of St Pauls Cathedral.
