Edinburgh Coach Lines SF17 VPN
A good variety of vehicles on show today! Going back to a trip out last Sunday, while stopped over in Kingswood Retail Park, I saw a very pink coach in my peritheral vision parked up near the offices of KWL. At first, I thought this was a pink Stagecoach coach dragged out to this side of the country for some promotional work for a breast cancer awareness charity, but a closer look reveals this is a very colourful member of the Edinburgh Coach Lines fleet. Certainly a step up from a shoddy ex-Citylink coach when I last photographed them in Edinburgh in 2018! Say what you want, but pink tartan looks surprisingly good on a coach!
Seen here way out of it's comfort zone on barren land in the middle of a business park, Edinburgh Coach Lines' SF17 VPN, a 2017 Volvo B11R with Jonckheere JHV2 bodywork, is seen awaiting whatever passengers it is carrying from Scotland up Connaught Road. Props to the driver for waving when we drove back out!
