East Yorkshire 'EastRider' 923 - YX20 OEB
During this drive, in the hopes that maybe, I'd get something decent, this was what I ended up scoring. Having just watched it pull in, it... well... it necessitated a sprint, let's say. And the funny thing is, the driver was taking a five minute break after all of that! Ah... at least I didn't wait in actual naught degrees for nothing. Not only does this photo actually show this bus now in service, it also shows the unique LED arrangement I witnessed, but was unable to effectively photograph, a few weeks earlier. As far as I've witnessed, the LED striplights are fully red when the doors are closed, turning white when the doors are open. Interesting, eh? I hope to, maybe one night, get this in the dark again, but that depends whether these lights will still be working by then...
Captured in service on what has been described as the coldest day of the year - this late? Oh dear... - East Yorkshire's 'EastRider'-branded 923, a 2020 ADL Enviro 400MMC, is seen here pulling out from its usual timing(?) stop at Market Weighton on the X46 to York via Pocklington, passing below some of the town's Christmas lights that are likely due to be taken down by next week. I hope to, hopefully one day, return to Market Weighton when the current climate has passed.
