First York Park & Ride 69370 - YJ08 XYK
Now this isn’t the one pictured, but I also managed to catch a ride - as well as a recording - of one of these heading into the York Outlet. These B7RLEs also share space on the Park & Ride services, but they're not exactly as interesting as the Citaros since they are bog-standard rigid buses, even if they are painted in a faux-metallic silver. Since now, however, it has been repainted into that bland new livery and has been put on any other service around the city - who knows, maybe I might catch up with it the next time I go. If there is a next time, that is.
Coming in from an angle I never really get buses in York from, First York Park & Ride's since-debranded 69370, a 2008 Volvo B7RLE Wright Eclipse Urban, is seen here coming down Clifford Street on a 9 service for the Monks Cross Shops. Last time I was in the York area in early March before this country went to Hell in a handbasket, funnily enough stopping at Monks Cross I remember some of these in varying states of being debranded in line for future repainting, still retaining their silver livery but having lost a majority of their logos. I wonder if there are still some of those kicking around in that state right now? Ah, they'll all be repainted by the time I get there next.
