[RARE] Royal Logistic Corps Bomb Disposal DN 67 AB
No, there wasn’t an explosives incident at the fish and chip shop, thank God. Off we go for an unassorted emergency photo binge to clear out a bit of the backlog - while out hunting for East Yorkshire’s remaining Presidents, right in the car park I saw the unusual sight of a bomb disposal lorry parked up outside, seemingly with no ill intent. I ummed and awed about getting the photo, given the current security situation, but eventually I held my nose and got it, shortly before the bus came around the corner - and when I returned to the car, I saw some obviously-RLC officers outside of the fish and chip shop with food in hand. Well, as they say, not a sight you see everyday. Sure enough, this probably found some genuine emergency use earlier this month - and with the other global circumstances that happened earlier in this month, that's why I've been holding off on uploading this for so long.
Parked up outside of a chip shop, the Royal Logistic Corps' DN 67 AB, a year-indeterminate DAF LF equipped with bomb disposal equipment in its rear, is seen here in Bilton Grange outside of the local Papa's fish and chip shop on what would likely have been a lunch break for the service personnel. Though I have acted on the fact that most photos contain registrations of these bomb disposal vehicles, I am willing to blur out the registration if requested by any official party.
