Stagecoach Lincolnshire RoadCar ‘Hattie the Seasider’ 16314 - IUI 5454 (S314 CCD)

This is officially the only upload of an 'in-service' Stagecoach Volvo Olympian I will ever have. And of course, it has to be the only one that has been put into open-top condition... and then further modified to be a playbus. It still appears to be MOT'ed until May 2020, but of course, it has been put in SORN condition due to the current climate. I don't expect this to last too long in the fleet, let alone as a vehicle at all, but at least its still being kept on a few months more, at least.

Seen here in 2018 in East Park for the 2018 East Park car show, the final time the event was held there, Stagecoach Lincolnshire RoadCar's 16314, a 1998 Alexander RL Volvo Olympian new to Stagecoach South Coast Buses as their 314 and originally registered S314 CCD, soon transferred to Lincolnshire, being reregistered and converted to open-top condition to do a number of sightseeing operations, is seen here in its final condition as playbus 'Hattie the Seasider' as part of a two-vehicle Stagecoach exhibition at the show.

Speaking of open-toppers, on the aformentioned walk, I came across former Grimsby-Cleethorpes ALX400 17675 'Pierre the Seasider' at the back of the depot, soon to be bound for scrap most likely while its replacement in the form of an ex-Megasightseeing ALX400 is stuck in the Foster Street repaint shops. And you wonder why hardly any Grimsby-Cleethorpes bus survives today - half of them have been converted to open-toppers!
