Lagoon HDR Composite

I had an OSC stack of color subframes for the Lagoon from a

Tele Vue 85 APO + ASI071MC Pro

and a stack of monochrome Hydrogen-alpha subframes from

Vixen ED80sf + ASI1600MM Pro

 

I produced a master frame from the OSC data and a master frame from the H-alpha data, and star aligned them. Pixinsight managed this easily, even though the two pictures were from different cameras and different telescopes. Creating an HDR composition from the two star-aligned masters was then trivial.
