Norfolk Souther 264 slides downhill into Fitchburg at my spot on the Rollstone Street bridge on the west side of town. Leading the way to Ayer on this gloomy mid-October evening was NS 6958, an EMD SD60E equipped with ACSES PTC to lead over this portion of the line which MBTA operates on.
