Amtrak Northeast Regional 175 heads south past Home Depot in Providence on the approach to Orms interlocking and Providnence station on a sunny early-March afternoon. Leading the way west down the corridor was AMTK 655, a Siemens ACS-64 built for the railroad in the mid 2010s. I spent a little bit out on the corridor on this day experimenting with shots around Providence which lead to me discovering this vantage point at the base of a light pole in the Home Depot parking lot. Later in the summer, I would wind up frequenting this spot for Providence & Worcester WODA.
