SAPPI-3 in Shawmut
ST SAPPI-3 climbs the slight grade up to the Kennebec Street crossing in Shawmut on a dreary late-December morning in 2022. Leading the way towards Waterville was MEC 350, an EMD GP40 equipped with a beautiful Leslie RS5T. This would unfortunately be my final shot of this train on this day, as they had to stop before the southernmost Route 201 crossing in Fairfield for a reason unknown to me. At any rate, I'm glad this trip to Maine was able to warrant so many photos of 350!
