The OCS F units in Rigby
For many of us New England foamers, the Pan Am OCS was always a must see. Any time it ran, tons of people would flock trackside to get their shots of the gorgeous blue F units and coaches. Being from Rhode Island myself, getting up to see the OCS on the few times it ran after I got into the hobby was difficult. On May 22nd, I thought I had a chance and came up to Rigby yard where it had arrived the previous night in hopes that it would continue up to Waterville the next day. Unfortunately, they would wind up sitting around for a few days and would leave while I was in school one day. So, this is unfortunately the best shot I was ever able to get of Pan Am's prestigious FP9As before they were shipped off to the CSX shops in Waycross, Georgia.
